Meet Our Senior Pastor, Wayne Lewis
With more than 44 years in ministry, Pastor Wayne Lewis has dedicated his life to sharing God's Word, serving others, and helping people grow in their faith.
A graduate of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Pastor Wayne has served in several ministry roles, including Associate Pastor alongside Dr. O.S. Hawkins, Minister of Evangelism, Minister of Music, and Minister of Senior Adults.
For more than 17 years, he has faithfully served as Senior Pastor of Richardson East Baptist Church, where his love for God and genuine care for people are at the heart of his ministry.
Pastor Wayne also has a passion for music and enjoys playing drums in our Praise Band. Outside of church, he treasures time with his loving wife, Gloria. Together, they find strength and encouragement in their favorite Scriptures, including Psalm 46, 1 Timothy 4, and Revelation 3:20.
