Assoc. pastor Jimmy Russell
Pastor Jimmy Russell surrendered his life to the ministry at age 18 on February 22nd 1970. He has been in the ministry 54 years and loves the Lord and serving His people and the Church. Pastor Jimmy has served as a Minister of Music, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Minister and Pastor. He has Pastored 2 churches and is now serving as Associate Pastor of Richardson East Baptist Church. Pastor Jimmy is our lead guitarist in our Praise Band. The Lord has given him passion for music.
In his free time, Pastor Jimmy enjoys being with his wife, Melissa and his family of 3 sons, 1 daughter and 2 grandsons. Pastor Jimmy and Melissa have based their love and life from God’s Holy Word, in particular, Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart..
